Last year, we faced an unfortunate and unexpected situation. At the San Antonio Collectors Expo, we were thrilled to purchase a Patrick Mahomes 1/1 Shield Auto. Our excitement, however, was soon replaced by dismay when we discovered that the card was, in fact, stolen property.
Upon learning this troubling news, we immediately took steps to verify the claim. After contacting the original owner and confirming their story, we knew what we had to do. It became our mission to return the card to its rightful owner.
The process was far from easy. Navigating the legal hurdles and dealing with the headaches that came with returning the stolen property was challenging. However, the satisfaction of restoring the card to its rightful owner far outweighed any inconvenience we faced.
In the end, we could not be happier with the outcome. Returning the card not only brought joy to the original owner but also helped restore his faith in the sports card hobby. This experience reinforced our commitment to integrity and honesty in the hobby.
